I have received the paper I was waiting on. He was born 1728 and was the youngest of ten children, most died in early age. His father's name is also John Hunter. He has a brother who was also a famous Anatomist and his name is William Hunter. I bought a book the other day and it discussed John and William but I was not sure it was my John until now. William Hunter was born in 1718 and in 1741 he went to London. I haven't figured it all out yet but I am having a blast. Thank you Sandra Delong Hunter
