For what it is worth, I have a Rachel Hunter marrying a William Hamilton in 1808, Speedwell, Claiborne, Tennessee. Rachel is the daughter of Henry Hunter, and the grand-daughter of John Hunter, born Johann Jaeger from Arisdorf, Basal-land, Switzerland. I show 14 children. The family moved to Millville in Lincoln County, TN. Some of Rachel's siblings moved to and through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, etc. .
