    2. Hello, Liz. Right now, I do not have any thing on your John Hunter. But this may be a help if you can get hold od a copy, either by inter-library loan, etc. It is "The Hunter's of Bedford County, Virginia" by Walter Hunter. There were three Hunters, two brothers, John, Alexander and one sister, Jane, who married a Hugh Martin. They landed in NJ from Scotland about 1700-20, then to Pa., Va. and NC. My line comes from John Hunter. Hope that this helps, let me know. Chris

    3. Chris, I am looking for the family of Mary Jordan Reed Hunter. I have a feeling that Jordan and Reed are family names that were tacked onto her. Are any of these familiar? Thanks, Fern P.S. She is from PA, Erie. ----- Original Message ----- From: <MekongRiver38744@aol.com> To: <HUNTER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 19, 2001 4:52 PM Subject: Re: [HUNTER-L] Hunter > Hello, Liz. > Right now, I do not have any thing on your John Hunter.
