I am trying find information on Samuel Hunter. He was a Justice of the Peace in 1834 in Yancey Co.,NC. He had land on Cane Creek Area, the same area as Elijah Hunter b. 1810 and wife Jane Harwell had. I am wonderong if he is related. I think there was another Elijah Hunter that was married to a Howell in Yancey Co. but born in Rutherford Co.,NC. He had a child in 1830 named Riffa.
