Hello, My g g grandpa William Peter HunterSr., from Alloway, Ayrshire, Scotland b. in 20 Feb 1830. He stowed away on a ship headed for the States. He was only around 14 when he left Scotland, And came through Pennsylvania. Ended up in Louisiana and then Texas He died in Eastland County, Texas 21 Feb 1886. He had a son William Peter Hunter, Jr. he was born in Texas in 1858 and another one of my GGgrandpa's sons had a son named William Peter Hunter but he also was born in Texas.
