Sandi, They came from No. Ireland in abt. 1730. They landed in NJ. Jane Hunter md. Hugh Martin and he died there. Went to Pen., then Va. Their mother came with them, but she died at sea. John was the older of the three. He may have md. a Henrietta Davidson. Alexander lived and died in Va. Jane went to NC to live with a son after Hugh died. John moved to the Guildford Co., NC area where he died in abt. 1774 or so. Doing this off the top of my head. His son-in-law and family also moved from Va. with John. This was Joesph Tate, who md. Elly/Ally Hunter, Johns daughter.(my line). John's son-in-law's are: Perkins, Joyce, Tate and Walker to name some last names. Let me hear from you. Chris
