Hello Hunters, I have a lot of old letters written by several HUNTERS who started their research back in the 1930's. I am slowly going through and trying to organize them. I ran across one this morning written by Robert C. Hunter of Hamilton, Ohio on 16 Sep 1952 that stated: "There was Rev. HUMPHREY HUNTER borned in Scotland, in 1754, came to America with his mother in 1759 and settled in Charleston S.C. HENRY HUNTER borned of Scotch-Irish descent in 1751, he too came to Charleston about 1774 but went directly to N. Carolina. Dr. JOHN HUNTER borned in Hunterston Co. Ayr, Scotland about 1721 and came to America about 1746. He was one of the founders and builders of Alexandria, Virginia." I will send more as I come across it. Kathleen in WA
