    1. RE: [HUNTER-L] Hunter Genealogy References
    2. Conrad James Hunter
    3. All if the Mecklenburg Hunters came directly to NC via Charleston port from Derry 1760-80s. There is another Hunter branch in Winston-Salem NC. that came from VA. the best known was John Hunter, leader of the Regulators. There may be something of note in the Myrtle Cranford papers that are in the Winston-Salem NC Room of the public library. -----Original Message----- From: Glenna Milligan [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2000 9:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [HUNTER-L] Hunter Genealogy References Betty: Does that book have a John Hunter b.?? d. bet 1796-1797 in Campbell Co., Va. Had at least 2 daughters: Betsy (maybe Margaret) b.1783 m. John Varney in 1792 Bedford Co. Elizabeth g.?? m. John May in 1779 in Bedford Co. Would really appreciate the lookup. This is a huge brick wall for me.
