Just an update on the Hunter book in the Mecklenburg co library, it is in very poor condition, and they would not let it be photocopied, also they said it does not mention William Hunter, of Buncombe Co, but does mention Humphrey Hunter, as I recall, he was of the same line, so if anyone gets to go there, there may be some useful info, i plan to go and get a look for myself , but it may take a few months to get there. The Sketches Of Western NC, does not have anything in it about Buncombe Co, as they tell me. I would still like to see both books for myself. Genie
