I am still trying to find the parents of John Hunter whose will was recorded July 1794 in Mecklenburg Co., NC. In the will he names his wife Mary, sons Robert and John, daughters Rachel, Agness, and Nancy, sons-in-law James Beaty and John Harris. His son John's will was recorded April 1800 in Mecklenburg Co. NC. He leaves his mother Mary all of his property left to him by his father John Hunter. He mentions his brother Robert, his sisters Mary Beaty wife of James Beaty, Rachel McNeely wife of Andrew Mc Neely, Agness Harris wife of James Harris and Martha Harris wife of John Harris. Mary Hunter's will was recorded 1811 in Mecklenburg Co., NC. She names her son Robert Hunter and her daughters Mary Beaty wife of James Beaty, Rachel McNeely wife of Andrew NcNeely, Agness Harris wife of James Harris and Martha Harris wife of John Harris.
