There is an Alexander, James, and John in Virgil, NY early (like 1820's or so) MA 1790 census lists these Hunters: Abraham (New Braintree), Alexander , Andrew, David (Montaque), Edward, Henry (Boston}, Isaac (Greenich and New Braintree), James, (Pelham), John (Berkshire), John (Montgomery)John(Sherburn), John (New Braintree), Jonathan (Petersham), Prince(Boston), Robert (Berkshire), Robert (Marlborough), Samuel (Brimfield), Samuel (Shelburn), Sara, Saul (Roxbury), Wm (Boston), Wm (New Braintree). John Hunter of Sherburn was mortally wounded in Shays Rebellion 26 Jan. 1787. Jeanine
