Conrad, I'm new to the Rootsweb Hunter circle. Do you have any information on the Hunters who went with the Boones from Rowan Co., NC to Fort Boonesborough, KY in 1780? Family history says that Jacob (g-g-g-g-g-grandfather) was one of the Hunters to go, along with his three sons, Jacob, Jr., John, and Samuel. A fourth son, Joseph, was born after arrival. Family history also says that my g-g-g grandfather, Daniel, is the son of one of them; but, didn't mention which one.... He was born in Jessamine Co, in 1792, married Mary "Polly" Roberts in Madison Co., and at some point later, moved to Boone Co., MO. He died there in 1858. Any help would be appreciated.
