My family comes from Beaver county, Pennsylvania. While on the subject, I was would be very interested on any information concerning Hunters from that area. My father,Edward Boyd Hunter Jr, Grandfather-Edward Boyd Hunter Sr., Gr. Grandfather- Edward Reid Hunter and probably more came from Beaver county. My Gr. Grandfather was left with relatives and subsequently ran away at a young age. His father left him at a farm in Monaca, Pa. to pursue a career in politics. All I know is he had the nickname of "Gentleman Ed". I have always wondered where in history he ended up and my greatgrandfather was bitter and quiet concerning him. If anything rings a bell in this mess, please let me know as I am very interested. I am also interested in any abnormal tale of Hunter greatness or woe.
