There is a son of Theophillus Hunter and Jane Lane named Alsey. The dates would be similar. There is a possiblity that this Alsey was named for Alsobrooke (Alsey ) High of Wake CoNC Theophillus was a Rev. soldier. Theophilus had Henry (SR) Alsey, Edith, Irene and Theophilus Jr. Of interest to me is that you list a Joseph C. Hunter as a child of Alsey. My Henry Hunter who married Delilan Hawkins High named their youngest so Joseph C. Hunter He move to TN with the family and on to AR.
