Gosh, since we are on a roll, let me tell what I DO know about my James from Yell Co, AR. 1880 Census, Riley District, Yell Co, AR: 72 Hunter James S. W M 25 Farmer TN TN TN Malisie A W F 24 Keeping House TN TN TN Emma A W F 6 Daughter AR TN TN John W W M 4 Son AR TN TN Madora W M 1 Son AR TN TN Sanore W F 1 Daughter AR TN TN Brasherse Francis W F 57 Mother-in-law TN NC NC Freeman Francis W F 13 Niece TN TN TN Thomas W M 11 Nephew TN TN TN Sarah W F 8 Niece AR TN TN John W (Wesley) was my grandfather. He and Madora (went by Dora Mae) were in Texas by 1900. Both married and had children there. Until this census record surfaced, no one knew "Madora" was a twin, or even where the family originated. To my knowledge, the others never made it to Texas. John Wesley and wife, Laura Irene Williams, died in 1918 leaving 4 orphan children to be raised by "Uncle Dora". I desperately seek any info on this family. Due to some other info I have received, I believe that James was the son of Andrew Hunter, but have yet to prove it. Anyone????? Ginger
