I am researching an Alexander HUNTER b.abt. 1750 in Scotland and moved with family (?) to Virginia. It is thought that of the age of 25 he removed to the MAss. area and died in New Bedford in 1821. Does he link to your family? Thanks

Do you know anything about the children of this Alexander Hunter? I'm looking for the parents of John Hunter. He is supposed to be from Ireland and his wife is supposed to be from Scotland, but I've seen VA for both in census records. ??? John served in the Civil War, but I have no siblings, parents, or other info on him prior to his marriage in Greenbrier Co, VA on Jan. 1, 1850 to Julia Ann Bush.
