Unfortunately, I don't have specific dates for those I wish to locate. William Hunter (born 1870-80) (prob. didn't leave Scotland) father of Alexander Hunter who married Mary (brothers John, William) (Assume he was born about 1800-1810; may have come to Canada late in life). (He also had twin sister Mary.) who are parents of: Samuel Gordon Hunter (and brothers John, Alexander) who married his cousin Sarah Hunter who lived in Riceville, Ontario. Their child, Arthur Alexander Hunter -- born ca 1867 -- is my GF I have the tree from Samuel Gordon Hunter to the present. What I'm searching are Samuel's parents, uncles etc. Those who came to Canada would have come from Scotland to probaby Ottawa at about the 1835-40 point. Highly unscientific I know.
