Hello, I am fairly new to the list and decided to try posting my Hunter family question. My grandmother was Myrtice Hunter, born 1905, in Warrenton, Warren Co., NC. She always said her father was Manley Reeks Hunter and her mother Irene Watkins, both of NC. I located a Manly Hunter living as a boarder in Wake Co, NC, on the 1900 census (hence, no parents listed). The census stated he was born in 1879, but I have not been able to locate him on the 1880 census. I was hoping someone out there had a Manley Hunter in their files.
