Hi, Dave, In your search for Hunters in Co. Tyrone, have you run across a Joseph, David, or Nathaniel? My Hunters emigrated from Co. Monaghan to Ontario about 1827. Various documents have different family members born in Cos. Monaghan, Fermanagh & Tyrone. Needless to say, this makes locating them in Ireland very difficult. My Joseph would have been born abt 1772, David 1807 and Nathaniel abt 1814. Thanks for your time. Hi all, My GGmother was Marion HUNTER, b.July 1833, Dumfries, Scotland. According to her death certificate her father was John HUNTER and mother was Janet, nee WILSON. I have a little birthday book which has birthday dates in it, and on some of the days are written members of the family. There are no years recorded, except for the odd one. Wondering if anyone knows of these HUNTER's? John HUNTER, June 8, 1847 (the only one with a year next to the name. Also, apparently Marion's brother) Thomas HUNTER, snr. June 5 Isabella L. HUNTER, June 5 Maggie C. HUNTER, March 25 Thomas S. HUNTER, April 6 Elizabeth S? HUNTER, April 25 Janet (Nettie) C. HUNTER, August 25 Elizabeth L. HUNTER, August 25 John HUNTER, Oct. 23 There are a few entries for SLOANs, too. and someone has written 'cousin' next to some of them. John A. SLOAN, March 14 Alan Douglas Stevenson SLOAN, March 14 Agnes SLOAN, March 19 Thomas A. SLOAN, May 24 Janet A. SLOAN, June 2 Chas. A. SLOAN, July 26 (cousin, Dumfries, SCOT) Mary SLOAN, August 13 George Alfred SLOAN, Oct 21 John P. SLOAN, Dec 29 Henry Edwin SLOAN, Dec 31 I know it's a long shot. A couple of the other names are WELLS, COSTIN & BOYD. I think they are all from Dumfries, Scotland area. Hoping someone has a connection to these. Thankyou. Cathie Melbourne, OZ

You could try looking for the book at BookFinder.com. They carry rare and out of print books.
Judy from Ky., Try a inter-library loan, if you can. I do not know where you can buy it at. Check your phone book for book dealers that deal in rare books or hard to find ones. I have had some luck that way. If no luck, let me know what you are looking for and I can check our gen. library. They have a copy. Chris
