    3. Thanks, Bill. I've already checked the ISTG lists, but no luck. They keep growing, so I'll keep watching! 2. Hi All, I haven't posted to the list in quite some time. I just recently jumped a small hurdle in my quest for HUNTER information. Thanks to the wonderful suggestions from people on this list I was able to finally get some information on the family of WILLIAM F. HUNTER. His parents were: WILLIAM HUNTER b.1762 in Ireland d.11/4/1848 in Warren Co., Ohio married in 1795 Ireland to MARY FULTON b. 11/6/1773 Ireland d.7/24/1847 Warren Co., Ohio I was so happy to get this information and now I'm eager to move on. I know that William and Hunter are both probably very common names in Ireland, but can anyone give me a place to start?? I have sent out an inquiry to try to locate where in Ireland they came from. Would ship records be a good place to start? ( there are so many, I'm not sure where TO start!) Any help would be most appreciated. As close as I can get to a "Mc" is the McKaig line which was actually a Sarah Bowman who married a McKaig and later married my John Gilson In Columbiana Co. Ohio in 1851. John was born 1814 in Ohio. He later married Edna (Hunter) in Greene Co. Indiana in 1862. Best regards; Dave Chandler
