Hi I'm new to this list. Anyone connected to Marion HUNTER, my GGmother, c.1833 Dalswinton, Scotland. Her parents were John HUNTER & Janet WILSON. Marion HUNTER married John Henry BOWSER, approx. 1852 in Dalswinton & they then swam across to Australia, arriving in 1857/8? I've checked the LDS Catalogue for the Parish Registers for Dalswinton, but there doesn't seem to be any. Any Ideas? Thank you in advance. Cathie Melbourne, Australia
Thank you for the response for obituary look up. I really appreciate the help. Again, sorry to the listers for this off-subject post. Loretta in Ohio
Looking for any info on Margaret Hunter's parents b. abt 1855 Birmingham England. Married Luke Mannion in England and immigrated to Bethel CT. USA Thank you Lucy
The following should get your obit. Have no idea what name you are trying to find or would have looked. http://www.azcentral.com/community/obits/
Hi, I don't live in Scottsdale, but I can give you a link to a funeral home there. If they don't know who is holding the services, they can give you the name of the local paper and they will probably have a web site. http://www.paradisememorial.com/
Sorry for the intrusion to the list but I'm looking for someone in Scottsdale, Arizona, who could find an obituary for a very close relative who passed away yesterday in Scottsdale (probably would be in today's paper). If you can help me, please contact me off-list. Thanks so much

Anyone researching the HUNTER line from Banchory,Devernick Kincardine around 1700's. Possibly Adam HUNTER with son Alexander b.c 1750.
Hi Everyone! Just want to tell everyone I have finally found descendants of my Hunter Family! My Hunters lived in the North East of England, & I had been looking for their Grandchildren or Great grandchildren for 2 years. I had placed a free advert in a local newspaper of the area where they lived. I got an e-mail last night from their granddaughter, saying that someone had shown her the newspaper with my message in. I just want to thank the people on this list who wrote in to encourage me to keep at it, when I was getting a bit disillusioned a few weeks back! Best wishes to you all, & I hope you all find who you are looking for soon. Jan.
I'm the one that asked about Joshua, as far as I know he hasn't been proven to be related, however he is the closest thing I have to a POSSIBLE father to Samuel, Thomas, William. I'm trying to find out just who he is. He is the first Hunter I have been able to find any reference to in Rhea County. If the census taker marked the correct blocks in the 1830 Rhea County he and his wife would have been in their 90's and born in 1740. I have found a Joshua Hunter in Greene County before that - but don't know if he is the same person. Kathy, I think you Hunters may be my line also. Do you have in your Hunter records, John Hunter brother to Samuel Hunter b 1793, NC. I have an outline that was passed to me with Wm Hunter and Anne Caldwell's children as Robert, Nathanel, Joh, Thomas, Anna, William, Alfred and Samuel. I am trying to verify this information.
