    3. Hi, my granfather is Marlin HUNTER, son of George HUNTER (1907-1951 and Emma BENDIGO (1913-1984). George's parents are still unknown to me except that his mother was a BOYER. They are from the Tower City area of Schuylkill County. Does this ring any bells with any one? 3. Reposting interests. My Great Uncle CHARLES HUNTER immigrated into the USA via Ellis Island in March 1906 and family tradition says he then went to live in Canada (that has never yet been proven). He was born on 30.1.1875 at Dodding Green, Skelsmergh, Kendal, Westmorland, England and his parents were WILLIAM ATKINSON HUNTER and ELIZABETH (nee MORIN). Does this link with anyone? 2. James, I don't know if we are connected. I have not been able to trace the origination of my Hunters. The only facts I have are as follows: George Lewis Hunter, bd ?, bp?; married Mary/Molly Ida Bishop Children: (not in order) French Rice Hunter, b. 13 Feb 1900, Lavallette, WV, d. Apr 1976; married Anna Gladys Reffitt, b. 3 July 1902, d. 9 Apr 1998. (my grandparents) John Price Hunter Daniel Boone Hunter Nellie Hunter, m. ? Addlesberger? I believe there were other children, but don't have the names at this time. George was supposedly the son of William and Sarah (Kazee?) Hunter. I have been unable to prove this, only hearsay. If you run across any connection, I'd appreciate a shout! Thanks and good luck on your searches. Penny

    2. Hi Penny, Well, I don't have too much on my McCONNELLS at the moment, but here's what I know so far: Ann McCONNELL was born circa 1810 to ? McCONNELL and Ann KEENAN (?) in (I believe) Seagoe, Armagh, Northern Ireland. They were Roman Catholic. Ann married Michael McKEOWN circa 1830. They had the following children: Edward, Ellen (both unproven for now) and Ann who was born circa 1835. Ann McKEOWN married my 2x great grandfather, Thomas CASSIDY in 1855 in Montiaghs, Armagh. These areas of Armagh are in the northeastern part of the county, up by the Down border. I've found some of the McCONNELLs across the border in Down, but haven't been able to prove a relationship yet. So that's all I have at the moment. I have a listing of McCONNELLs from a cemetery in Down (at the Armagh border) if you'd like me to look for a particular name. It will take me alittle while to locate the list though! Well, let me know what you think. They had a son George Lewis who married Mary/Molly Ida Bishop, who were my ggrandparents. I don't know birthdates or birthplaces of any of these people. 3. Hi Ed, I have the same info you have. Our line comes thru Mathew Crawford Hunter. I have his line on down and a little bit on Mary E., just that she was married to Mansfield Lee. No dates for him or her. I have that Catherine's parents were Henery Boyer and Barbara (no last name). No dates on them either. I had been told that Joseph A Hunter's parents were Joseph Hunter and Mattie (probably Martha) Taylor, but if those are your Joseph & Martha that's probably not right. I have no documentation for My Joseph and Mattie, so I have taken it with a 'grain of salt', as they say. Let me know if you want the line of Mathew Crawford Hunter. 3. I am looking information on Elisha Daniel Hunter and his family. I have the 1900 census on him thanks to Julie Ganis. But I would appreciate anyone looking at 1910 & 1920 census on him. I think he had more children than is shown on 1900 census. Elisha's parents were Harry A. Hunter of Stanley/Richmond co. and his first wife Malinda McKay d. 1856. His grandparents were (William) Ephraim Hunter b. 1777 and Sarah Elizabeth Crocker b. Va. 1779 of Anson Co.(PeeDee river area). I am trying find Ephraim and Sarah's parents also. There's a William Hunter who lived in Anson Co. and Richmond Co. after Richmond Co. was created and owned land (1,000 acres) in PeeDee Area. He had a daughter, Dianna Hunter married Abraham Lefeaver(several spelling variations) he gave some land to. He "maybe" is the father of William Ephraim Hunter.
