I am a descendent of Elizabeth Hunt (b. 17 Nov 1814 in Montgomery County Kentucky, d. 17 Oct 1846 in Putnam County Indiana) and Joseph Smith (b. 12 Jan 1808 in Montgomery county Kentucky, d. 9 Sept 1884 Mercer County Missouri). Elizabeth Hunt was the daughter of James Hunt (b. 12 Apr 1777, d. 8 Dec 1829 in Montgomery County Kentucky) and Polly Higgins (1787-1859). I am very interested in learning more about this branch of the Hunts as well as more about Polly Higgins.
