    3. Norman Squires Hunt was b ca 1820 in Rensselaer Co NY and d 1 Jun 1890 age 70y 6m 17d and is buried in Center White Creek Cemetery. Hs father was Peter Hunt who m Joyce ?. Nothing further in my files on Peter, unfortunately. The source of the above is Richard Hillenbrand (71242,2343 on Compuserve in 1993). There were some Peter Hunts of the right time period out of the Rhode Island Hunts who travelled in this area, but none appear to fit this Peter. Mitchell Hunt has figured out some of these in "The Hunt Families of the Eastern Townships of Canada", 1978, copy available from the FHL. I will keep looking.
