Found on many Tish.Census, Wife, Nancy 1850 Census says she was AL, 1880 Census say she was b. GA DESCENDANTS: 1. Margaret J. Hunt b. MS, 1839, m. L. B. Millican/Miliken in MS. So far I know of one dtr Mary E. Millican/Miliken. Margaret and Mary found on 1880 Census Hill Co TX living with brother DAVID HUNT. 2.David Hunt b. MS on 7-8-1841, m. Ann/Annie Stone (Indian) in Osceola, Hill Co, TX. abt. 1872, They had two children. (my second ggrandfather) 3. Sarah Hunt b. MS abt. 1843 4. Elizabeth Hunt b. MS, abt. 1847 5. Mary A. Hunt b. MS, abt. 1849 6. George H. Hunt b. MS, abt. 1851 7. Rebecca Ellen "Ellen" Hunt b. MS, abt. 1854 8. Richard J. Hunt, b. MS, abt. 1855 9. Malinda P. Hunt , b. MS, abt. 1857 10. William Henry "Henry", b. MS. abt. 1859, m. Minerva L. (nee?) in MS, both graves are at Piney Grove (or Allen Line Cemetery) and 2 infant sons. 11. Permelia Hunt, b. MS abt. 1862 12. Malissa Hunt b. MS, abt. 1865 13. John D. Hunt b. MS, abt. 1868, My granduncle say's he may have been a medical doctor in Texas. 14. Infant Hunt, b. MS abt. 1870 All children were born in Tishomingo County. I have found a marriage bond in Old Tishomingo County in 1838 for Joseph Hunt and Elizabeth McClung on 8-25-1838. Is Nancy, Nancy Elizabeth. Or did Elizabeth die after the birth of David Hunt? JOSEPH HUNT'S father was b. in SC and his mother in VA. Nancy's father was b. in SC and her mother, which may be Rebecca Malden/Mauldin was b. in GA. Any help would be wonderful.
