Messages to [email protected] from "alanmilz" w/attachment are infected. I have received four in the last two days repeating messages I have sent earlier. Infection caught by Symantec Anti-Virus. Sandy Hunt Lubbock [email protected]
I can confirm Sandy's virus warning. My Norton program did not filter it. Fortunately, I was suspicious enough to check it out before opening it. We all must learn to be suspect of any email with an attachment, all the more so if sent from an unknown entity. In this case, this "alanmilz" sender used one of my own previous Hunt-L messages to send a response back saying, "check out the attachment." The attachment was titled "fun.pif". DO NOT open it. Immediately delete the entire email. Then, go to the deleted file and delete it from there. Thirdly, go to your Recycle Bin on the desktop and permanently delete it from your system. Norton says that this virus cannot be cleaned. This is bad stuff. We live in a wacko world. Elwyn D. Draper Grand Rapids, MI Visit the Draper-tree at www.geocities.com/draper-tree.
