    3. On page S-17 of Mitchell Hunt's Supplement to a Corrected Genealogy of Col. Jonathan Hunt (1716-1782'...under FURTHER SUPPLEMENT, NOVEMBER 2000 there is this "Wilson's oldest son Samuel Hunt of Owens [sic] Co., KY, made affidavit stating that he was born 12 Oct 1782 in Rowan Co., NC, the only son of the first of his father's three wives (not identified). that his father had only one son, Enoch, by his second wife (not identified), that in the Fall of 1793his father m. Margaret Shotwell, his third wife, in Fayette Co., KY, that he lived with his father and stepmother in Fayette Co., KY, and about 1823 removed to Owen Co., KY where he has resided ever since, that his stepmother Margaret remained in Fayette Co., KY until about 1849 when she removed to Owen Co., KY, and has remained there ever since, residing with her son-in-law Samuel Arnold and has never married since the death of her husband Wilson." Reference is made in same article to Revolutionary War Pensions, Fayette Co! ., KY, has file for Wilson & Margaret (Shotwell) Hunt, Pension #W4242, Bounty Land Warrant #34968-160-55, North Carolina, provides statement of subject Wilson Hunt appearing 15 Dec 1832 before Court in Lexington, KY, that he was born in Rowan Co., NC in 1754, served in several units (described in detail) in Rowan Co., NC, in years 1780-1783 until the year 1785 when he removed to Kentucky." Samuel is on the 1850 census of Owen County, KY pg 271B, age 77. farmer, RE $1520, b. NC with Wilson S., age 26 or 28 (unclear) Nancy 21, Hayden Shelton, 11. Next to him is Enoch Hunt, age 28 with Elizabeth 22, James W. 1, and Eliza A. 1.
