To the good people of the Hunt list. I have just had a thought (which is rare). I live in Gladstone, Missouri. The courthouses of Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties in Missouri are close to me. I have business that takes me to them on at least once a week, no I am not a lawyer. Anyway, I would be happy to look up anything in those three counties for my Hunt cousins. I have found the actual records have much more information then the books in the libraries do. For example, Missouri has some called Bond of Administrations for people who died without wills. These pieces of paper list everyone that files a claim against the estate as well as there location at the time. We found three people on one that we had listed as dead. One was a man named Rufus Fern Bailey. We thought he had died in 1889 or so. Turns out he moved to Riverside County, California. We then found a census listed that showed his kids names. From the Social Security index we found we missed meeting the youngest son by only a few months. My Aunt then found a grandson, living eight blocks from her in California. Sorry, I was rambling. The point is that since we all live in different counties it might be handy for people who live in the county seats to volunteer to do look ups in those counties. I am volunteering to do look ups for anyone on the Hunt list in Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties in Missouri. It does not have to be Hunt related but I only am offering to do so for people on this list. Jeff
