Sybil & list, Wilson Hunt (b. Jan 16, 1754 in Rowan Co. NC, d. Jan 28, 1833 in Fayette Co., KY, son of Col. Jonathan Hunt and his first wife Mary Smith had 3 wives - so he was married to a Bryan (first name unknown), Agnes Burns and Margaret Shotwell. ? Bryan was his first wife b. abt. 1760, d. 1790 and she had 2 children that I know of with Wilson Hunt - Enoch Hunt b. April 2, 1783 in Rowan Co. who married Judith Chapman and Samuel b. Oct. 12, 1782 in Rowan Co. who married Ruth Shelton. I don't have any information unfortunately on any children of Samuel but I do on Enoch, let me know if you want that. Wilson Hunt and Agnes Burns did not have any children that I know of. With Margaret Shotwell he had a number of children: Clarrissa b. Nov. 25, 1794 who married Samuel Lawrence, Phebe b. Feb. 20, 1796, Jasper b. Oct. 11, 1798 m. Nancy White, John b. Sept. 12, 1800, m. Sally Carson, Daniel Wilson b. March 31, 1802 m. Grace Metcalf , Nancy Washington b. Dec. 23, 1804 m. Abraham Walker, Mary Jane "Polly" b. Sept. 29, 1806 m. Samuel Arnold, (can't read my own writing - I will check on this name when I get home - looks like Sihaha but I'm sure that is not it) b. Oct. 3, 1808, m. Pete Rynolds, and Wilson Shotwell b. July 6, 1810 m. Martha Ann Hull. I assume you know that Wilson Hunt is from the Ralph Hunt Sr. of Newtown, Long Island Hunt family. I have a great deal of information on Wilson Hunts line back through Col Jonathan and back to Ralph Sr. that I would be glad to share with you if you don't have this. My own line comes through Anna Hunt daughter of Ralph Sr. who married Theophilus Phillips but I have followed the Col Jonathan Hunt line extensively because like several of my other connected ancestors to Hopewell Twp. hi Susan , Many moons ago , When I was first doing my Hunt line you sent me a bunch of data , Including Wilson and Samuel , at that time I put down Agnes as Samuels mother , Or that is how I have it , Maybe I got it wrong ? , I think that The Ralph ged on Hunt website also shows it this way ! , So which is right , And is the Hunt site in need of correction ? , for everones information , I am NOT related to Ralph , BUT have family that is ! , Clayton Flowers and Nancy Hunt , dau. of Wilson and Martha Cain .........
