    2. Carol: Andrea gives Noel Massey as the father of Zanney. The heirs of Noel sell a piece of property in Anderson Co. signed by the heirs on 4 July 1826 and William Hunt signes for his wife (not named). Charles Hunt is the father of Wm. Jeremiah and John. This John married Mary Kilpatrick and they moved to Tuscaloosa Co., AL with the Kilpatricks. He is, I believe, too young to be the John who founded Huntsville, AL. The John who founded Huntsville is well known as being the first sheriff of Claiborne Co., TN. and was born around 1750. His son, John Jr. later became sheriff also. The county lines changed and part of Claiborne became Hawkins. John heard about the "big spring" from an old trader and gunsmith named Bean (well known in these parts) and went to see for himself and came back and got his family and built a log cabin above the spring.
