Hi List, I am trying to trace my Gr Gr Grandfather Henry John BURKE's first wife and their only daughter Ruth BURKE. Ruth was born Jan 25, 1831 probably in Marlborough Twp. of Carleton Co., Ontario. Her mother, Henry's 1st wife, (name unknown) must have died before 28 Dec 1838, as her father married Elizabeth RUTLEDGE (2nd wife) on that date. Ruth's family as I know it is: (1) Henry John BURKE, b abt 1794-95, of Drumherriff, Co. Leitrim, IRN, ....................d 8th Mar 1862, buried Richmond, Carleton Co, ON. (1) Wife No. 1: unknown.
