There was a Jesse Hunt in Greenbrier Co., W. VA very early. He bought (or had a grant---not sure which) in 1796. There was also a Jesse Hunt who died around 31. Dec 1901 (date of probate of will) in Marion Co., W. Va. Will Bk 3, pg 399. This may be the same Jesse. I have longed to find out more on this man! You might write for a copy of the will.
