On a stroll, I came across a headstone at the Holy Church of the Trinity, in Stratford on Avon (town of Shakespeare's birth & resting place). William Oaks Hunt, Clerk of the Peace of the County of Warwick for 52 years. Town Clerk for the Borough of Stratford upon Avon for 46 years. Died 16 March 1873 age 78. The grave appeared to have some prominence.....it was very close to the church, much larger than those around it, slightly raised and the headstone was more square & massive than most others.
