Does anyone know the parents of Jonathan Adamson, b 12 Mar 1828 in NC per the 1850 census but born in IN per the 1870 census? He married Lourana Hunt 11 Oct 1849 in Henry Co, IN. Lourana was the daughter of Wilson Hunt and MIllicent Wilson. They lived next door to James and Mary Ann Roe in the Henry Co 1850 census. Mary Ann's mother, Amassa was an Adamson. Jonathan was a Civil War veteran and he and Lourana moved to Harvey Co, KS after the war where they are buried. I can't find the family in any 1860 census, but they are in Madison Co, IN in the 1870. Children are William, Harriet, Joseph and Sarah. 1880 census has them in Harvey Co with a daughter Dora as well. Thanks, Sharon
