I see he's in Monroe Co, TN in 1850 and says his birthplace is GA vice the TN he gives in later years. He has a number of Hunts next door as well -- he is 21 & recently married, Lewis Hunt age 39, b. GA is on one side, and William Hunt age 22 is on the other. A few houses dows is Thornton Hunt, age 33, who says he is born in SC. There are 43 Hunts in Monroe Co GA in 1850. William, b1798, VA, William 1794, SC -- it looks like there are three groups -- VA, SC and GA. I can't tell just from this simply view whether they are separate lines, whether 2 of 3 are common, or even all 3 common -- you would probably need to look at the county records in Monroe Co, TN through deed & will to figure that out. However, I don't think these link to the Smith / Wilson Co, TN Hunts -- of which, BTW, there are multiple, apparently unrelated Hunt lines there also.
