There were a bunch of Hoags and Hunts who were Quakers. ******************************************************************** In the descendants of William Hunt b.1710 d. 1778 Pawling, Dutchess Count NY appears a DAVID in the fourth generation b. abt 1800 d. after Sep 1850. his father was Thomas Hunt (Samuel-2, William-1) and wife Sarah Sprague. Davids wife is shown as Anette (sic) Terry. David died in Oswego County. : Also more interesting a DAVID HUNT(StephenS.-3, Samuel-2,William-1) B. May 18 1804 in Cambridge Washington County NY and died aft. 1850 in or aft, 1879 Harmoney Chautaqua County NY He married Betsy BURNS(not Burris) 19 Dec 1823 in Schaghticoke Rens.
