John and Elizabeth Tomlin Hunt -born c. 1749 and c. 1750 respectively in London- came to East Haven, Connecticut around the time of the Revolution. All children were born in Connecticut. Children were: Frederick William b. 1772, John B.1775,Grace b.1776, Anna Maria b.1777, Sarah b.1779, Emily B. 1780, William Henry b. 1782, Elizabeth b. 1783, James Richard b. 1785, Woodward Hervey b. 1787, Charles Augustus b.1789, Sarah b. 1790 and Samuel Bradley Horatius b.1793. William Henry moved to Athens, Georgia and had a large family. Some descendants later came to Texas and Arkansas after the Civil War.
