So nice to hear from you, Jean---and Chuck and Joy. Since Clara was my mentor, idol and inspiration, I feel if Clara couldn't find the answer, no one can! But then---I'm prejudiced. As I recall, Clara had a cousin who is/was a certified genealogist and worked at times proving lineages for the DAR. Joy, do you know who I am talking about? Clara always felt if there was any hope, it lay with this person. She could just not get this man (I believe it was a man) interested. Good Hunt-ing! Seem so many folks interested in this line. Has anyone thought about doing a Y-DNA rest on a living male from this line? Sorry to bring this up I am always on a look out for more result from surname Hunt on paternal line. ...and nice to hear from you Felicia. I do not know who the (Clara's) "certified genealogist" might have been that you referred to. In Hamilton County IL (where Clara and I both were born), was a couple (Ralph and Dessie Harrelson) who did much genealogy but not a lot of sharing. He has passed on and she now lives in a nursing home and her memory has failed her. A note: Ralph was my mother's double first cousin and Dessie was from the Hunt line. Thanks all for the responses.
