I have a small book "Historical Sketch of Maury County" read at the Centennial Celebration in Columbia, TN July 4th 1876. In it there are two persons by the name of Hunt mentioned. One, Alfred Hunt, was one of the founding members of the first Masonic lodge in Maury Co. "Columbia Lodge No. 31". It was organized 10th of Nov. 1819. This is all the book states about Alfred Hunt. Then, (quote) "In speaking of Culleoka, we should have mentioned Dr. Jonathon S. Hunt, who, for many years, commanded an extensive practice and had great character for skill and success in his practice. He died about 1862 or 1863. " Felicia
