I know personally of a branch of Hunts that had been in Oklahoma City until 10-15 years ago. The individual is a retired Fire Chief who has moved to Sallisaw, OK, who is a descendant of the Hunts from the Hunt, AR line of Mose Hulm Hunt, my great great grandfather. I have tried to get more information without success but will pass it on as I can find more. As I understand it, the family is the offspring of one of Mose's sons who abandoned his wife and children for another woman. He became an outcast and the wife and kids left the area later.
