    3. My great-grandfather Edward D. Hunt died in Oklahoma City, OK, sometime about 1935-1940 (probably closer to 1940). It is supposed he is buried there also. Does anyone have any information on him you could share with me? Edward D. Hunt was born in Oakland county, MI, sometime during the 1860s. He married Achsah Parrish 13 March 1889 at Hartland, Livingston county, MI. They divorced in Michigan sometime between 1910 to 1920. It is thought that Edward D. Hunt married second to a woman named Lula, probably in Oklahoma City. Don Nutt (my mother was a Hunt)

    3. Don, According to the 1870 Fed. Census, there were 35 families named Hunt living in Oakland Co., MI. I would guess that one of them is the family of your Edward D. The 1870 MI census is on-line, but you have to pull up each individual census page on PDF format, which takes a while. So, if you want to invest the time, go to http://envoy.libofmich.lib.mi.us/1870_census/Search.asp and enter Hunt in the surname blank, and choose Oakland for the county, and you should have 4 pages of Hunts from which to choose. Click on the census page of each family and you can view the actual census document. Let us know how successful you were. BTW, I can't believe that the Hunt that Sandy found on SSDI is your Edward, as this one was b. in 1892 and you indicated that yours was marr. in 1889. Good luck. Elwyn D.
