I saw the Wilson Co., TN for Thomas HUNT , b. ~1747 in MD with notes about the 1820 census in Wilson Co., TN. You name neighbors including Hardy Hunt, Jesse Hunt, then Thomas Hunt, John Hunt. Do you know the relationship between these HUNTs and your Thomas HUNT? We're looking for the parents of Richard M,. HUNT, b 1824 in Wilson Co., TN,. We hadn't checked the 1820 census, but we did check the 1840 census for Wilson Co., TN. The only HUNTs with a child of the right age in their household in 1840 are John HUNT (age 40-50), Matthew HUNT (age 40-50) and Matty HUNT (age 30-40). John HUNT is on p. 188, near James HUNT (age 40-50). Matthew and Matty HUNT are on p.288 near Hardy HUNT (age 30-40), Jesse HUNT, (age 30-40), and Elijah HUNT (age 20-30). William HUNT is on p. 287 (age 20-30).
