Here is another family members death notice Mt. Carmel Daily register 9-16-1921 Wabash claims another victim. The Wabash river claimed another victim to her long list yesterday a short time after noon when H.P. Hunt, better known at "PENN" a mussel digger 62 years old pitched from his boat into the water a short way below Patton and was drowned. The unfortunate man was father of three children all of whom are married. They are Henry Hunt, a brakeman on the big four who received a message of the accident at Pinkstaff while on his run; Edward Hunt of Arkansas, who has been wired and who is on his way here and Mrs. Amy Wilson who lives near Patton. He has four brothers , Dan, Charles, Stev, and Dave, and three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Worth, wife of John Wirth, Mrs. Hester Reel of St. Louis, and Mrs. Mary Dyer of this city. Mr. Hunt was a member of the Modern Woodsman and a member of the U.V.church.
