He is indeed the Hunt expert. Who is it that has information on Ambrose Hunt (ca 1720 - 1765), an "early settler of the MA Berkshires"? I am looking for the parents of a Ruth Hunt (ca 1760 - 1841) who was married in Adams, Berkshire Co., MA in 1786 (married Eseck Brown, son of Joseph Brown and Hopestill Dexter). I cannot find her parents. Does anyone know if Ambrose Hunt or any of his brothers (John, Japhet, William, Samuel, and Benson) had a daughter named Ruth? Thanks for any information.
