    1. [HUNT-L] Re: My 2cents
    2. Hi Gang! I too sit and read through the messages trying to find a connection. You never know when a little tidbit that you might connect to will come from. I've enjoyed the discussion about Ralph and my ears perk up and my heart starts beating faster when I see the word Tennessee. The discussion between F & F has brought out some Tennessee connections--------- Now, let me see the word GRANDISON. I'm still looking for a proof or connection for a Grandison Hunt b 1801. The census shows him born in VA as well as his wife Bideth Haymes. They were married around 1820.......where??? The Haymes were in Rutherford NC area, some went to SC for a period but was my Grandison there? He ended up in McMinn Co, TN from 1830 - 1870 (census) where he and his wife do another disappearing act. One census is listed as "B" Hunt. Is Grandison a nickname-middle name?? I'm at a loss. He did not own property and appears to have kept a low profile only appearing in census records. He may have had a sister named Jane that married a brother to his wife. (Mr. King that is on the list and comes from that family if I remember right) I've been on the list for quite a while and must say that I enjoy it even if it hasn't proved my Grandison. (Yes, Sandy, I remember last year) Any discussions or are learning tools for us all. Thanks to you all! Dee
