I disagree that Lucy (Hunt) Wimbish was referring to James Hunt son of Charles Hunt of Charlotte County, Virginia. We have this James Hunt pension application made in Tennessee in which he list his wife wife as Christana. This James Hunt also stated his father was Charles Hunt and gave his family. His father Charles Hunt died in Charlotte County, Virginia and left a will dated October 15, 1785. His widow re-married in Charlotte county. If there is a marked to Charles Hunt son James Hunt (1703-1795) in SC it is error but that won't be the first misplaced marker. I know of nothing that this Charles Hunt did which would warrant a historical marker. Fleetwood fgourdin@mindspring.com wrote: > Fleetwood: This makes sense---thanks!
