Felicia, I am afraid I have about exhausted my store of knowledge on Henry Hunt's children with the exception of Henry, Jr. As you are well aware, the problem with Henry is that there are several other Henrys in the same area at roughly the same time period. James had a son, Henry who was born in 1755. The Thomas you mention in your note had a son Henry who was born about 1744. Here are some information I have which I believe points to Henry Jr. As you know, in 1756-58 James was the guardian of Henry and William Hunt. In 1759 there is a deed in Granville Co where Thomas Brogdon is selling land to John Smith. This deed is witnessed by Henry Hunt. The "other" two Henrys would appear to be too young to be witnessing this deed. In 1761, John Stalling of Granville sold 160 acres to James Hunt. This land formerly belonged to Henry Hunt. Again the witnesses are William Hunt and Henry Hunt. In 1765 William Simmonds sold to Henry Hunt 184 on Cypress Swamp. 1796 Elias and Martha Gay to William Hunt both of Franklin Co., NC "my wife's dowery of land of Henry Hunt, deceased". This land was granted to Henry Hunt by William Simmonds. Martha was the widow of Henry Hunt. By about 1800 she had married Elias Gay.
