thank you thank you thank you I was so thrilled to receive this information ! I am not surprised about the wrong names and the different spellings... My name on my birth certificate is spelled FAY and my brother grew up spelling his name OREN and is wasn't until the army that the made him spell it like it was on his birth certificate which is ORREN.... I don't know why they changed the spelling of Hewlett...but apparently that is the was the Catholic saint spells his name according to some. As you can probably tell from my e-mails I can't spell either so I guess it runs in the family ! It took me a while to figure out the Marcus Welby reference to the TV show but I finally got it..... His name was not Marcus Welby ! That doesn't surprise me either as it is information from my mom. That is all I will say on that subject before I get into trouble. I am going to pass on the information to my cousin Buzzy as he has been actually trying to research this himself for the past 20 years without benefit of the internet and got nowhere. ----- Original Message ----- From: <fgourdin@mindspring.com> To: FEMayo <FEMayo@email.msn.com>; <HUNT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 1999 12:37 PM Subject: Re: [HUNT-L] Re: Hunts from South Carolina.....Faye in Florida > You finally gave me the right clue.
