You finally gave me the right clue. Marcus HEWLETT Hunt married Mary Anderson (Marcus Welby is the name of the currently running TV series character). Hulet Hunt (spelled this way for this man, but the spelling varies), married Rebecca Kelly and had eight children, Marcus being the last. Hulet's father was John Hunt who married Margaret Bowen and had three children: Hulet, John Wesley and Waddy Thorpe Hunt (the progenitor of the Texas Hunt family of siver "fame"). John Hunt's father was Esli Hunt and his mother was Nancy Lacey. Esli was a Rev. War Soldier, b. 10 Jan 1759 and died 8 May 1837 in Greenville Co., SC. He was married three times, but Nancy is yours. Esli was born in Bedford Co. (later became Franklin Co.) Virginia to Thomas (probably) Hunt and his wife, Ann, who had fourteen children. Thousands have searched for proof of the father of these fourteen (well documented), but have not found conclusive proof. I believe I have enough circumstancial evidence to prove my case that Thomas and Ann were the parents, but do not have the energy to try to combat those who do not want to claim this particular Thomas and Ann. He was a doctor and a Loyalist who never took up arms against the British. He and a number of his neighbors were imprisoned and released after they signed the Oath of Allegiance.
