He died Feb. 8, 1803 at the age of 74 years old which means he was born in 1724. He enlisted in Halifax County, Virginia and returned there to live for 12 years before moving to Henry County, Virginia. He married Rhoda (I believe her maiden name was Nunnelee) Dec 25, 1787. Elijah Hunt lived across the river from his father James Hunt in Halifax near the present day Clarkton, Virginia which received it name from Elijah granddaughter third husband when the railroad was built in 1850's.
